| | NEWS Announcement at the Block Party 04 May 2025  On the 4th of May at the end of the very successful "25 Years of Geocaching NZ" Block Party in Rotorua, it was announced that the next mega event in New Zealand would take place in Nelson, in the heart of the "Top of the South" and the centre of New Zealand. The region is one of the most diverse in New Zealand, with golden beaches and turqoise waters, to snow capped mountains and crystal clear lakes, and that's not even getting to rugged islands and sounds.
